KIRAN RAY CHAUDHURY
Co-Founder
Kiran brings over 26 years of PR and communications experience. She has spent the first 12 years at India’s first, tech-only PR agency, 20:20 MEDIA (now 2020 MSL). The subsequent years saw her entrepreneurial spirit flourish, founding and leading two PR and marketing communication firms: Aether Marketing and currently 80 dB Communications.
A seasoned communicator, Kiran has steered PR mandates for a diverse portfolio of companies, across sectors to deliver on their reputational ambition and/or challenges. She is an optimistic, solution-oriented leader, and thrives on bringing creative ideas to the table. A recognised team player, she has built and managed teams from a very early stage in her career.
Kiran has a Master’s Degree in English Literature from Lady Shri Ram (LSR) College, Delhi University. She is a health and fitness enthusiast, embodying the vigour and discipline she imparts in her professional ventures.

ABHILASHA PADHY
Co-Founder
Abhi brings over 20 years of experience in both the agency and corporate sides of communications. She has experience working with both B2B and B2C businesses, ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 brands, and has an acute insight into the distinctive communication challenges faced by companies.
Prior to starting 80 dB, Abhi was at Google where she was a member of the Global Communications & Public Affairs team and worked cross-functionally to develop communication programs across Google Maps, SMBs and Cloud business. Her strategic acumen was further solidified in senior roles at Philips Consumer Lifestyle, shaping PR and internal communications, and at Mercer, where she led PR for the India region.
Abhi has a PGD in Communications Management from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communications and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from St Stephens College, Delhi University. Abhi’s passion for travel is as boundless as her commitment to the art of communication.
